 Metalization provides your filters or windows an ability to be welded, in order to be sealed.

As the picture shown above is one of our standard Metalized Germanium windows. The outter part is a metalized ring on both sides, as well as, on the edge. This metalized part can let you further work on it for sealing or connecting purposes.

 The substratres can be Sapphire, Germanium, Silicon, BK7, etc. and the coating can meet the MIL-STD.

The following is a curve of transmission rate from 8 um ~ 11 um for this Metalized Ge window.
